The greatest act of rebellion is the act of creation. It is saying that you won’t listen to others, just the pure light within you. We are all artists and canvas’ simultaneously. Our spirit is our trusty pen, with ink made of the earth. And yes destruction is a form of creation. How else can the divine spew forth? Think of destruction as a great cleansing forest fire that comes through and devastates the old growth trees. But something beautiful happens, new growth. The forest is renewed and ultimately will become more healthy and vibrant.
